Born in Bogota, Colombia Dahveed has a nurture a long live fascination with cultures and languages. Lived in Peru, and Brazil before arriving in the United States to pursue higher education in Art with emphasis in Photography and Museum Studies, while training corporal expression at Prometeo in Miami, FL. In 2006 he co-founded Circustancias, an independent circus troupe that toured North America doing street performance for social change and gallery installations. In 2009, Dahveed moved to Land of Enchantment to study Design for Performance at the University of New Mexico. Actively engaged in New Mexico’s theatre, youth education, cultural enrichment, human rights, and social and environmental justice programs.
