Hollow Roots
, by award-winning playwright Christina Anderson, questions the notion of a “post-racial” society, looking at one woman’s quest to understand her identity. The revelations from her journey are poignant and perhaps even surprising. Anderson’s exquisite and transporting text is accompanied by a videoscape and original, live music, representing our protagonists’ inner life and history.

This production was funded by: The Tecovas Foundation and the Marion and Stanley Bergman Charitable Fund, as well as our crowdfunding donors. Residency and development support was provided by The University of Kansas Department of Theatre, Tricklock Company, Amphibian Stage Productions and the South Dallas Cultural Center.
