AUDITIONNow in its seventh year, the Manoa Project is an intensive summer theater-training program for Albuquerque-area teens, focused on the development of ensemble-based work, culminating in performances of a world premiere script by a New Mexico teen playwright, in Albuquerque and Santa Fe! New Mexico teens entering or recently graduating high school are encouraged to audition. Auditions will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2009 from 5pm to 8pm and May 16 from 1pm to 4pm at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. You must schedule an audition to participate. Students auditioning should expect a 45-minute audition in a group with other students. No prepared monologues are necessary, however, students should come ready with movement clothing and a willingness to try new things.
