Alex Knight is a writer, director, performer, comedian and trainer who recieved his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from the University of New Mexico. His first contact with Tricklock Company was through his work with Albquerque's Sketch Comedy Troupe Eat, Drink and Be Larry, with whom he helped to create works including Hamlet the Vampire Slayer and Macbeth In Space. His first appearance in a Tricklock Company production was in Candide then soon followed with Belladonna for the Revolutions International Theater Festival.

Alex has performed in hundreds of Improv shows over the last four years and he has been training improvisers for the last three years. Alex acted as the Artistic Improv Director and Training Center Director for Gorilla Tango Comedy Theater. He has trained performers at UNM, ALT, The Box, Gorilla Tango as well as run childrens programs at Sandia Prep and The University of New Mexico.

Alex has been a member of the Screen Actors Guild since 2003 and has worked on and appeared in numerous films including, Around the Bend, Coyote Waits and First Snow in which he worked with Guy Pearce.

Alex has performed throughout New Mexico and has toured internationally. His performances at the Edinburough Fringe Festival were critically acclaimed. Current projects include the full length prodcution of Belladonna by Juli Hendren and directed by Summer Olson. He has also began working on an ambitious two man comedy with Kevin R. Elder.
